Connect Strava

Link your Strava account and your runs come across on their own — route, distance, elevation, heart rate and a VO2max estimate for each one.

The best training log is the one you do not have to fill in. Calcpace now connects to Strava.

Go to your account settings, click through the Strava authorisation, and it starts pulling your history in the background — up to two thousand past runs, a page at a time. Only the running comes across: runs, trail runs and walks. Anything already in your log is matched rather than duplicated.

Each imported activity arrives with its route on the map, its distance, time and elevation, its heart rate where Strava has it, and a VO2max estimate worked out the same way as for anything else you log here. The route is stored as the compact line Strava already publishes rather than every individual GPS point, which is why the maps draw instantly instead of dragging thousands of coordinates around.

Your Strava tokens are encrypted where they sit. You can disconnect from the same settings page whenever you like.
