Accounts, by invitation
Calcpace grows a log-in. Registration is invite-only for now, with single-use codes bound to the email they were sent to.
The calculators have always worked without an account, and they still do. But a calculator forgets you the moment you close the tab, and a training log has to remember. So Calcpace has accounts now.
Not for everyone yet. Registration is invite-only: a code arrives by email, it works once, and it only works for the address it was sent to. That keeps the first weeks small enough to fix things properly instead of firefighting.
Email itself got sorted out at the same time — invitations, and everything the site will need to send you later, now go out through a real transactional email service rather than whatever the server happened to have lying around.
If you are here for the pace maths, nothing has changed. Everything public stays public and free.
